The vulnerability is addressed by improved checks in the Foundation component. It affects multiple Apple devices including iPhone 8 and later, and iPad 5th generation and later. Apple released patches for this issue in iOS 16.7.8, iPadOS 16.7.8, and macOS Ventura 13.6.7 on May 13, 2024.
