CVE-2024-27793 is a vulnerability in Apple iTunes for Windows where parsing a specially crafted file may cause the application to terminate unexpectedly or allow arbitrary code execution. This issue affects iTunes versions prior to 12.13.2 on Windows 10 and later. Apple addressed the vulnerability by implementing improved checks in iTunes 12.13.2, which was released on May 8, 2024. The vulnerability is rated medium severity with a CVSS score of 6.3. There are no known exploits in the wild at this time.
