A moderate severity vulnerability (CVE-2024-46544) affects the mod_jk module, a plugin for Apache HTTP Server that connects it to the Apache Tomcat servlet engine. The issue involves information disclosure and denial of service (DoS). Red Hat has released an update for mod_jk in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.2 Extended Update Support to address this vulnerability. The update rebases to the upstream 1.2.50 release which contains the fix. No known exploits are reported in the wild at this time.
