Wavlink AC1200 devices with firmware versions M32A3_V1410_230602 and M32A3_V1410_240222 have a medium severity vulnerability (CVE-2024-48705) involving a post-authentication command injection in the password reset functionality. The issue arises from improper sanitization of the 'newpass' field in the 'set_sys_adm' function within the 'adm.cgi' binary. This vulnerability allows an authenticated user to inject commands during password reset. No official patch or remediation guidance is currently available.
