CVE-2024-54518 is a medium severity vulnerability in Apple iOS and iPadOS where an app may be able to corrupt coprocessor memory due to insufficient bounds checks. This issue affects multiple Apple operating systems and has been addressed by Apple in iOS 18.2 and iPadOS 18.2, among other platform updates. The vulnerability is related to improper memory handling (CWE-125). No known exploits are reported in the wild at this time.
