The PPWP: Password Protect Pages plugin for WordPress contains an improper authorization vulnerability in the can_access function affecting all versions up to and including 1.9.15. This flaw allows authenticated users with Contributor-level access or higher to retrieve the master password and access any password-protected content. The vulnerability has a medium severity score of 4.3 and does not currently have a confirmed patch or official remediation. No known exploits are reported in the wild.
