CVE-2025-15379 is a command injection vulnerability in MLflow's model serving container initialization code when deploying models with the env_manager set to LOCAL. The vulnerability arises because MLflow reads dependency specifications from the model artifact's python_env.yaml file and interpolates them directly into shell commands without sanitization. This allows an attacker who can supply a malicious model artifact to execute arbitrary commands with the permissions of the MLflow process. The flaw affects MLflow versions from 3.8.0 up to but not including 3.8.2, where it is fixed.
