An attacker can send PUT requests to the /tmp/ endpoint, causing persistent files with attacker-controlled data to be created under /opt/myapp/webserver/. These files are not removed due to the server attempting to move them to a non-existent directory. Repeated exploitation can exhaust storage and cause denial of service.
