0 Two security vulnerabilities have been identified in ImageMagick as used in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Extended Lifecycle Support. The first is a denial of service vulnerability caused by an integer overflow in the BMP decoder on 32-bit systems (CVE-2025-62171). The second is an arbitrary code execution vulnerability triggered by a crafted XBM image file (CVE-2026-23876). Red Hat has issued an important security update to address these issues. The update is available for multiple architectures under the Extended Lifecycle Support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7. No CVSS scores are provided in the advisory, but the severity is rated as important by Red Hat. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 02/23/2026, 06:48:41 UTC Added: 06/25/2026, 21:46:44 UTC |
