CVE-2025-70238: n/aCVE-2025-70238
0

CVE-2025-70238 is a high-severity stack buffer overflow vulnerability affecting the D-Link DIR-513 router firmware version 1.10. The flaw exists in the handling of the curTime parameter within the goform/formSetWAN_Wizard52 endpoint, allowing remote attackers to cause a denial of service without requiring authentication or user interaction. Exploitation requires only network access to the vulnerable device, and while no known exploits are currently active in the wild, the vulnerability poses a significant risk to availability. This vulnerability is classified under CWE-121 (stack-based buffer overflow) and has a CVSS v3.1 base score of 7.5. Organizations using this router model should prioritize mitigation to prevent potential service disruption and network instability. No patches have been published yet, so network-level protections and monitoring are critical interim measures.
