0 python-utcp versions before 1.1.4 have a server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the HttpCommunicationProtocol.call_tool method. The vulnerability arises because the initial tool URL is validated, but HTTP redirects are followed without re-validation. This allows attackers controlling a tool endpoint to redirect requests to internal or cloud metadata services and retrieve their response bodies.
