The flaw arises from incomplete fixes for a previous SSRF issue (CVE-2026-44661), where the GraphQL plugin's URL prefix check can be bypassed and the WebSocket plugin lacks URL validation. This allows attackers to craft malicious tool URLs that cause the server to connect to internal services or cloud metadata endpoints, potentially exposing sensitive API keys and OAuth tokens to attacker-controlled hosts. The vulnerability has a low CVSS score of 2.3 and requires user interaction and high attack complexity.
