CVE-2026-102821 is a vulnerability in the Eugeny russh Rust SSH client and server library prior to version 0.63.2. An authenticated remote peer can exploit the server by sending SSH_MSG_KEXINIT messages without the required SSH_MSG_KEX_ECDH_INIT, then flooding SSH_MSG_CHANNEL_OPEN messages. This causes the server to enqueue replies on an unbounded channel without draining, leading to uncontrolled memory growth and potential process termination. The issue is fixed in version 0.63.2.
