0 CVE-2026-104659 is a high-severity vulnerability in Progressive Robot Ltd's hMailServer versions 6.0.0 through 6.3.5. It involves missing validation of the Host header and lack of throttling on failed administrator sign-ins in the REST API listener. This allows a remote attacker to perform a DNS rebinding attack via the administrator's own browser to brute-force the administrator password. The REST API listener is off by default and bound to the loopback interface when enabled, but it accepts requests regardless of the Host header value and does not delay or ban failed login attempts. Successful exploitation grants full administrative control of the mail server. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 10/08/2026, 10:52:55 UTC Added: 10/08/2026, 11:04:03 UTC |
