0 CVE-2026-104660 is a missing authorization vulnerability in Progressive Robot Ltd's hMailServer versions 6.0.0 through 6.3.5 on Windows. It allows a local interactive user without hMailServer credentials to read and write arbitrary files as the service account and to queue mail as any sender. The issue arises because the service registers COM classes without proper DCOM access or launch permissions and calls CoInitializeSecurity without a security descriptor, enabling any logged-on user to activate these classes with elevated privileges. This leads to unauthorized file access, mail queuing, and mail-fetch job attachment without authentication.
