0 CVE-2026-104988 is a high-severity authentication bypass vulnerability in Red Hat Certificate System 10's Dogtag PKI component. The issue arises from the CMCAuthForEST authentication plugin failing open when processing EST fullcmc enrollment requests submitted via BasicAuth without an end-user TLS client certificate. This causes the system to incorrectly treat the request as having agent-level privileges, allowing an authenticated EST user to obtain CA-signed certificates with arbitrary subject names.
