0 A path traversal vulnerability exists in docling versions from 2.94.0 up to but not including 2.132.0 when using the LatexBackendOptions with tikz_engine set to "tectonic". This allows untrusted TikZ input to compile without restricting TeX file primitives, enabling reading and writing of arbitrary files. Additionally, enabling the tikz_engine_allow_shell_escape option permits execution of shell commands. The default configuration without Tectonic rendering is not affected. This vulnerability is fixed in version 2.132.0. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 10/05/2026, 21:26:56 UTC Added: 10/05/2026, 21:34:01 UTC |
