CVE-2026-105748 is a medium severity vulnerability in the docling-project's docling software affecting versions from 2.16.0 up to but not including 2.131.0. It involves external control of file names or paths where the JSON_DOCLING backend does not reject image references containing local paths or file URIs. This can lead to disclosure of image files readable by the Pillow library and can also reveal the existence of certain paths. The issue is fixed in version 2.131.0.
