Joplin Server versions prior to 3.7.2 contain a vulnerability where password reset tokens are not properly verified. An attacker who obtains certain tokens like CSRF or account confirmation tokens through other means can misuse the password reset endpoint to change a victim's password. This action also deletes existing sessions and API applications for the victim. The issue is resolved in version 3.7.2.
