0 CVE-2026-106428 is an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the MongoDB C Driver affecting SCRAM authentication response parsing. It occurs when processing a malformed server-final message, allowing reading one byte beyond a fixed-size buffer. This can cause the application using the driver to terminate if a malicious server or network intermediary sends such a message before server-signature verification. The extra byte read is not exposed through the protocol. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 10/08/2026, 18:35:02 UTC Added: 10/08/2026, 20:37:05 UTC |
