0 CVE-2026-10669 is a vulnerability in the Zephyr RTOS affecting Xtensa SoCs with MPU and userspace support enabled. The vulnerability arises from a flaw in the arch_buffer_validate() function, which incorrectly permits access when the buffer's address range wraps the 32-bit address space, bypassing MPU region checks. This allows an unprivileged user-mode thread to pass crafted buffers to syscalls that validate user memory, potentially causing information disclosure, memory corruption, privilege escalation, and denial of service. The issue affects Zephyr versions from 3.7.0 through 4.4.0. The fix involves changing the default denial behavior and adding overflow checks.
