It involves an out-of-bounds read caused by an incorrect bounds check in the net_dhcpv4_msg_type_name() function, which indexes a static array using a DHCP message type value. This vulnerability can be triggered only when DHCPv4 debug logging is enabled at DEBUG level. Exploitation may lead to a denial of service via client crash and potential disclosure of adjacent memory contents through log output.
