0 A vulnerability in Sirius Computer, Inc. Crux Agent versions 1.9.0 up to but not including 2.0.3 causes improper handling of WireGuard preshared keys when SHA-512 is negotiated. The agent uses a 64-byte key instead of the required 32-byte key without validating the size, leading to failure in updating the live tunnel and preventing the tunnel from starting after a restart. If the "Enforce SKA Use" setting is disabled and a peer never successfully negotiates a valid key, no preshared key is set, potentially allowing an attacker with stored traffic and access to a quantum computer to decrypt the tunnel. The CVSS score is 6.3 (medium severity). Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 10/09/2026, 13:15:57 UTC Added: 10/09/2026, 13:34:09 UTC |
