0 An out-of-bounds write vulnerability (CWE-787) exists in the MariaDB server's CONNECT engine DOS table type in certain versions. This flaw allows an authenticated user with CONNECT engine access to write one byte beyond a stack buffer boundary at an attacker-controlled offset. Exploitation can cause a crash and potentially lead to remote code execution. The issue affects multiple MariaDB server versions and has been fixed in specific later versions.
