It arises from improper validation of JSON-based requests in the WebSocket API. A low-privileged authenticated attacker can exploit this flaw by sending specially crafted requests that disrupt service and may cause the device to reboot unexpectedly. The vulnerability affects version 1.0 of the product. No official patch or remediation guidance is currently available from the vendor.
