CVE-2026-10849: bounds in zephyrproject zephyrCVE-2026-10849 0 A heap-based out-of-bounds write vulnerability exists in the hawkBit device management client of Zephyr (subsys/mgmt/hawkbit). The vulnerability occurs because the buffer allocated to accumulate HTTP response bodies does not reserve space for a terminating NUL byte, leading to a single-byte heap corruption when the terminator is written just past the allocated buffer. This can cause heap corruption and denial of service. The issue affects Zephyr versions 2.4.0 and later up to but not including 4.5.0.
