It affects the start_6rd_tunnel function in the /sbin/rc file of the Web UI component. The vulnerability arises from unsafe manipulation of the ipv6_6rd_borderrelay argument, allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands. The vulnerability has been publicly disclosed and may be exploited. Shibby Tomato has been superseded by FreshTomato. No official patch or remediation guidance is currently available from the vendor.
