The CleanTalk Anti-Spam – Complete Spam Protection WordPress plugin is affected by a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the 'user_email' parameter. This vulnerability exists in all versions up to and including 6.89.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this by injecting malicious scripts during user registration if registration is open. The injected script executes when an administrator runs the plugin's user-spam scan and views certain tabs in the plugin interface.
