0 Sigma File Manager versions up to 2.2.0 contain a server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability. The issue arises because the function validate_remote_url() does not verify the resolved IP addresses for extension download commands. This allows a malicious extension or catalog entry to use hostnames that resolve to loopback, private, or cloud metadata addresses, potentially enabling reading of internal responses via files written to the extension directory. The vulnerability has a medium severity with a CVSS 4.0 score of 5.3. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 10/19/2026, 13:55:10 UTC Added: 10/19/2026, 14:04:39 UTC |
