Mindee docTR versions up to 1.1.0 have an unsafe deserialization vulnerability in the load_pretrained_params() function. This function uses torch.load without the weights_only=True parameter, allowing attackers who can supply a local or URL checkpoint to embed malicious pickle payloads. Exploitation can lead to arbitrary Python code execution with the privileges of the loading process on torch versions before 2.6. The vulnerability has a high severity rating with a CVSS 4.0 score of 7.7. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 10/19/2026, 15:28:54 UTC Added: 10/19/2026, 15:49:15 UTC |
