0 Sensei LMS WordPress plugin versions before 4.26.4 contain a broken access control vulnerability in a legacy message handler. This flaw allows authenticated users with low privileges, such as Subscribers, to send private messages to authors of arbitrary courses, lessons, or quizzes without verifying enrollment. The vulnerability arises because the legacy handler only checks a generic nonce and does not restrict post_id to valid post types or verify course enrollment. This bypasses the enrollment checks implemented in the newer REST API message controller. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 10/19/2026, 14:45:24 UTC Added: 10/19/2026, 14:49:14 UTC |
