Robots::Validate versions from 0.4.3 before 0.4.10 for Perl report clients as imposter robots due to a User-Agent matcher state carryover issue. The Aho-Corasick search machine used to detect robot User-Agents does not reset its state between requests, causing one User-Agent to influence the detection of the next. This can lead to legitimate clients being incorrectly blocked if their User-Agent string overlaps with a robot name.
