The flaw arises from improper handling of the media_dir argument in the snprintf function within /cgi-bin/glc, allowing remote attackers to inject commands. The vendor fixed this issue in version 4. 8. 1 by escaping single quotes before writing media_dir to the FTP configuration, preventing command execution. Testing on version 4. 8.
