CVE-2026-11809: memory-safety in zephyrproject zephyrCVE-2026-11809 0 CVE-2026-11809 is a memory safety vulnerability in the UpdateHub OTA client component of the Zephyr project. It involves an out-of-bounds or uninitialized memory read in the updatehub_probe function when processing a probe response from the UpdateHub server. The flaw can cause a denial of service by crashing the update thread or device due to reading beyond allocated heap memory. There is no direct information disclosure or out-of-bounds write. The vulnerability affects Zephyr versions 2.0.0 and all versions from 2.0.0 up to but not including 4.4.2. The CVSS score is 3.7, indicating a low severity impact.
