CVE-2026-11810: memory-safety in zephyrproject zephyrCVE-2026-11810 0 CVE-2026-11810 is a memory-safety vulnerability in the UpdateHub firmware-update agent of Zephyr. It occurs when parsing JSON metadata from the update server, where an attacker-controlled response with an empty inner array leads to a NULL pointer dereference. This causes a CPU fault that halts or resets the device, resulting in a remotely triggerable denial of service. The impact is limited to availability with no data corruption or disclosure. A fix is described that rejects empty inner arrays before dereferencing. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 08/10/2026, 20:23:23 UTC Added: 08/10/2026, 20:42:01 UTC |
