CVE-2026-11811: dos in zephyrproject zephyrCVE-2026-11811 0 CVE-2026-11811 is a low-severity denial-of-service vulnerability in the Zephyr project's UpdateHub over-the-air update client. The flaw causes a socket descriptor leak on connection setup failure, leading to gradual exhaustion of the socket pool and degraded networking until device reboot. The leak occurs when the client repeatedly fails to establish a DTLS connection to the UpdateHub server, which can happen naturally or be influenced by network disruptions. Only builds with the UpdateHub client enabled are affected, and the leak rate is limited by the OTA poll interval, typically once per 24 hours. There is no impact on memory integrity, information disclosure, or authentication. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 08/10/2026, 22:55:17 UTC Added: 08/10/2026, 23:12:04 UTC |
