CVE-2026-11893: use-after-free in zephyrproject zephyrCVE-2026-11893 0 CVE-2026-11893 is a use-after-free vulnerability in the Zephyr Bluetooth HCI driver for Bouffalo Lab on-chip BLE controllers (BL60x/BL70x/BL61x). The driver violates the buffer ownership contract by unconditionally freeing a buffer on error, leading to a double free and premature freeing of a parent buffer. This causes use-after-free and corruption of the shared net_buf pool, resulting in denial of service via BLE stack crash or memory corruption. The issue arises on the host-to-controller transmit path under error conditions such as controller send failure or unsupported packet types. It affects Zephyr versions 4.4.0 and 4.4.1. The CVSS score is 5.9 (medium severity). Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 08/11/2026, 04:42:39 UTC Added: 08/11/2026, 05:12:04 UTC |
