CVE-2026-11894: use-after-free in zephyrproject zephyrCVE-2026-11894
0

CVE-2026-11894 is a use-after-free vulnerability in the Realtek BEE Bluetooth HCI driver within the Zephyr project. The driver violated the buffer ownership contract by unconditionally unreferencing a transmit buffer on error paths, causing a double-free and subsequent use-after-free when the host also unreferences the buffer. This can lead to memory corruption and device crashes under certain resource exhaustion or IO failure conditions. The issue affects Zephyr versions 4.4.0 and 4.4.1. A fix has been implemented to correct the buffer ownership handling, preventing the double-free and use-after-free errors.
