CVE-2026-11985: info-leak in zephyrproject zephyrCVE-2026-11985 0 CVE-2026-11985 is an information leak vulnerability in the Zephyr RTOS ARM port related to floating point unit (FPU) register handling. When the hardware FPU is enabled with the default floating point ABI but without enabling FPU register sharing, callee-saved FPU registers are not preserved across context switches. This allows an unprivileged thread to read floating point registers left by another thread, causing information disclosure. The leak is limited to 16 callee-saved single-precision registers and is considered low impact. A fix is available that ensures FPU register sharing is enabled when the floating point ABI is selected, preserving register state across context switches.
