CVE-2026-12277: CWE-73 External Control of File Name or Path in Frontend File Manager PluginCVE-2026-12277
0

The Frontend File Manager Plugin for WordPress up to version 23.6 contains a vulnerability that allows unauthenticated users to delete arbitrary files on the server when guest upload mode is enabled. This occurs because the plugin does not validate file paths derived from user input before deleting files. An attacker can delete critical files such as wp-config.php, which forces the site into its setup routine and can lead to a full site takeover.
