CVE-2026-12415: CWE-269 Improper Privilege Management in pravel Invoice GeneratorCVE-2026-12415 0 The Invoice Generator plugin for WordPress (pravel) contains a critical privilege escalation vulnerability in versions up to and including 1.0.0. The vulnerability arises from a missing capability check on the pravel_invoice_edit_account() AJAX action, which is exposed to unauthenticated users. Attackers can supply arbitrary user_id and user_email values via POST requests and update any user's email address without authentication or nonce verification. This allows attackers to initiate a password reset for targeted accounts, including administrators, potentially leading to full account takeover.
