CVE-2026-12545 is a command injection vulnerability in the rubygem-hammer_cli component of Red Hat Satellite 6.19 for RHEL 9. The flaw arises from insecure interpolation of the $EDITOR environment variable into the Ruby system() method, allowing shell metacharacters to be interpreted by the system shell. This vulnerability can lead to high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability if exploited.
