CVE-2026-13087 is a heap out-of-bounds write vulnerability in the Linux kernel's RPC-over-RDMA server reply path affecting Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10. A crafted RPC-over-RDMA client can trigger a kernel heap overflow by sending a large NFS READ request with specific characteristics, potentially causing denial of service or arbitrary code execution. This vulnerability requires the NFS/RDMA server to be enabled and running with RDMA hardware. Systems without RDMA hardware or not using NFS over RDMA are not affected.
