The flaw allows a compromised virt-launcher process on the same node to forge domain lifecycle events for other virtual machine instances (VMIs), causing incorrect state updates and disruption of lifecycle management. The vulnerability arises because the gRPC handlers trust the VMI identity from the request body without validating it against the connection origin.
