CVE-2026-13352: CWE-434 Unrestricted Upload of File with Dangerous Type in properfraction Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content – ProfilePressCVE-2026-13352
0

The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content – ProfilePress WordPress plugin is vulnerable to arbitrary file upload in all versions up to and including 4.16.18. This vulnerability arises from the unconditional addition of executable file extensions (.exe, .apk, .msi) to the global WordPress MIME allowlist via the allowed_mime_types function. Authenticated users with author-level access or higher can exploit this to upload potentially executable files, enabling remote code execution. The issue affects all upload contexts site-wide because the filter is registered globally regardless of feature configuration.
