CVE-2026-13717: Improper Access Control in Red Hat Red Hat OpenShift AI (RHOAI)CVE-2026-13717
0

CVE-2026-13717 is a high-severity vulnerability in the Red Hat OpenShift AI (RHOAI) MaaS Gateway caused by improper access control due to insecure default configuration. This flaw allows a low-privileged standard user to intercept, read, log, and modify all model-serving traffic within any namespace authorized to use the MaaS Gateway. Sensitive data exposed includes access keys, input prompts, and outputs, leading to significant information disclosure and data tampering. Mitigation involves restricting Gateway access to specific namespaces, though this does not fully prevent traffic hijacking between authorized namespaces. Fully locking down the Gateway is effective but compromises the self-service functionality. No official fix or patch has been confirmed yet.
