CVE-2026-14180: Inconsistent Interpretation of HTTP Requests ('HTTP Request/Response Smuggling') in Red Hat Red Hat build of Apache Camel for Spring Boot 4CVE-2026-14180 0 CVE-2026-14180 is a medium severity vulnerability in the ChunkReader component of the Undertow HTTP server used by WildFly and JBoss EAP. The flaw arises from a single internal variable storing both the remaining chunk size and state flags, allowing an attacker to send a crafted request with an extremely large chunk size. This causes the parser to prematurely conclude a request, enabling a second 'smuggled' request to be processed out of sync and potentially bypass security controls. Exploitation requires a frontend proxy forwarding oversized chunk-size values to the backend server. No official fix or mitigation currently meets Red Hat's criteria for deployment.
