CVE-2026-15425: CWE-79 Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') in yoast Yoast SEO – Advanced SEO with real-time guidance and built-in AICVE-2026-15425
0

Yoast SEO plugin for WordPress versions up to and including 28.0 is vulnerable to stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) via the post slug (post_name). Authenticated users with author-level access or higher can inject malicious scripts that execute when other users visit the affected pages. The vulnerability requires pretty permalinks to be enabled, as the exploit relies on the get_permalink() function embedding the stored percent-encoded post_name in URLs.
