IBM App Connect Enterprise versions 13.0.1.0 through 13.0.7.2 and 12.0.1.0 through 12.0.12.27 contain a critical path traversal vulnerability (CWE-22). This flaw allows a remote attacker to send specially crafted URL requests with directory traversal sequences (/../) to write arbitrary files on the affected system. The vulnerability has a CVSS 3.1 base score of 9.8, indicating a critical severity with high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
