The vulnerability arises from insufficient validation of the 'thisPermalink' field, allowing attacker-controlled input to reach call_user_func(), enabling unauthenticated code execution. Exploitation requires a form defining a field named as a reserved placeholder key. The vulnerability is tracked as CVE-2026-16144 with a high severity CVSS score of 8.1.
